Captain Expectations

Captains are selected by the previous season’s members of the team, as well as all four coaches in the program.  There will be between one and three captains selected, and a captain can lose his position at any time by the coaching staff if he does not consistently demonstrate the following qualities.  Captains are expected to attend all off-season activities.

1.                             A Captain should lead the team by example, realize that he is only part of the team, be unselfish, and respectful to teammates.

2.                            A Captain must be the hardest worker in every practice and game.

3.                            A Captain must be in control, mentally and physically at all times.

4.                           A Captain must be a positive role model who follows all school and athletic regulations, and communicate effectively with his coaches at all times.

5.                             A Captain must be the first player present at all practices and games.
